im so new to san deigo i don't know where the end of the street i live on leads to. maybe you nice folks can help me to tap into the burn scene here. give me a clue or two. i am a perennial burner and i am willing to provide two hands and two feet to help create some art for the playa or to otherwise help the community in return for some healthy conversation and perhaps friends....

Well, I'd say you're already on your way to tapping into the scene - we do a lot of coordinating of our events and artistic efforts on Tribe.net. Keep checking for upcoming events...we've got a couple big weekend camping events coming up - Alma Paradiso in June and Elysium in July (at which I'm getting married!!). We SD Burners are especially known for our friendliness and community-mindedness, so welcome!
