Summer is almost here and it is time for the XSL to get out of the dust and into the water.

Join the XSL next Saturday, May 17 at 11AM for an afternoon of aquatic events, food and fellow Burners as we continue to redefine what it means to be a sportsperson.

Chicken Fights
Water Volleyball
Most Fashionable Swimsuit Exchange Competition
Hoops
Diving Rings

We're going to take over my apartment complex's swimming pool and clubhouse for the day. I live in Hillcrest.

Who belongs to the XSL?
Everyone is welcome to join the XSL. It does not require any athletic abilities to compete. In fact, the unofficial motto is "You Gotta Suck To Win". Bring a competetive spirit and a desire to show how well you can suck at fake sports!

What is the XSL?
The Xara Sports League was originally founded to further the goal of competetive athleticism within the context of Burningman and related regional events. You may have seen us play Sunrise Golf through your camp or witnessed the amazing Wiffle Ball Spring Classic of the Orange Juicers versus the Purple Haze. Not content to exist only in the dust and wind, the XSL has taken the Burner spirit to more public events, such as Go-Karting, Cosmic Bowling and Paint Ball.

Is there a Prize?
Participants in all events will be awarded points that apply toward the XSL Sportsperson of the Year award.
