Hola all,
I always see tons of stuff regarding hooping, hooping tribes and so on, can anyone point me to any local SD drum circle tribes? I'm trying to find out the "when and where" for local drum circles, or clinics. Thanks!!

Mon, October 5, 2009 - 5:40 PMCheck out the "SD World Musicians" Tribe. It's not just drumming circles but there's a lot of that there. I don't know how active they are anymore ... maybe you can beat some new life into that community ... har har

Tue, October 6, 2009 - 8:32 AMif you want a monthly drum jam, just go down to Blacks Beach's cliffs in La Jolla every month on the full moon. I've heard that a few hundred people go down there and most of them form a giant drum circle and jam away with the sounds of the ocean. There is no amplified sound down there so basically it's a big bonfire, drums, and some other acoustical instruments.
there's no info anywhere online for it, just ask around to find out which spot to hike down as I'm not exactly sure.
