Ok can someone direct me to a good tribal car mechanic? I know we have some in the community, but not sure who they are. My Blazer is leaking water, possible water pump & probably from the radiator too!!
Or just any good recommendation would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Tribe Mechanics
Thu, June 25, 2009 - 9:51 PMI SO turned SA onto Mark (Silly Diego on tribe, I think, if he hasn't changed it). All the burners go to Mark so you know he's good, straight and affordable.

Sun, June 28, 2009 - 7:38 AMCOG, If that doesn't work for you, I have a really good mechanic that I trust implicitly. He just did a bunch of work on my son's car and he's in Lemon Grove. Let me know. -

Mon, June 29, 2009 - 10:35 AMMark mark mark... Cornering the market with fair and excellent work. Not a lot of industries you have to worry about fair practices, but with mechanics it's a must. Go the Mark way.

Re: Tribe Mechanics
Fri, July 10, 2009 - 1:27 PManyone knows burner DIESEL or foreign car specialist? (I already talked with Mark- and have been using him for years) but now I have a diesel VW and I DO NOT want to take it to the dealership. it needs some basic 200,000mile tune up (wide grin- it runs AWESOME) and change me breaks- I gotta stop somehow...after 200,000 it just wants to keep'on rollin..... :-)
any recommendations would be great,

Re: Tribe Mechanics
Fri, July 10, 2009 - 1:56 PMProAlign may be worth a call. 619.276.8685.
I don't know if they do diesel, but I like their service. Mark sent me there to get my rv worked on (because his lot isn't set up to handle enormous vehicles). They are literally around the corner from Autohaven.

Re: Tribe Mechanics
Fri, July 10, 2009 - 3:39 PMI also have a few local mechanics that can handle diesel, they're in the Kearny Mesa area off of Clairemont Mesa Blvd and 163.
i've been taking my car to them for 10 years. Automotive Remedies, 858-874-2585. Shawn and Gary are the owners, let me know before you call, i'll have them take care of you. Very nice guys, completely honest, and very fair prices.
They refer all of their body work to my shop, and we refer all the mechanical stuff to them so they give the super sweet friend deal for me and my homies.
