That's right...Phat Elvis Chicken Shack is looking for a few good cooks.

Earlier this year, Phat Elvis Chicken Shack was asked to participate in Ranchita Rocks, which presented us an opportunity to serve the larger community of San Diego County. We gladly accepted, and everything has gone so well that we expect the event to be much bigger than we first thought. So we're going to be feeding a lot of people! This leaves us a wee bit shorthanded on help. We're looking for people who are handy with wood to help us build our structure the weekends of 9/15 and 9/22, and cooks, dishwashers and counter help for the dates of the event (9/28-30).

Here's the deets: Phat Elvis will be serving the event primarily as a food caterer to the staff and performers, for cost of food and supplies, more or less. We have also been asked to vend food to the public, and are encouraged to use this opportunity as a fundraiser for our theme camp. Which we definitely need. So if you have enjoyed all that good food and would like to give a little something back in the form of a helping hand, now is a great opportunity to not only help out the Big Guy in The Suit, but to help preserve San Diego's wonderful backcountry and rural communities.
